Activity Day at Doe Park

Published by Miss Draper under Uncategorized

On Thursday 4th June 2009, 29 children from Year 5 had the fantastic opportunity to spend the day at Doe Park reservoir. The children were split into four groups and spent half their day on the water and the other half of their day taking part in land-based activities.

Children had the opportunity to canoe in yellow inflatables and build their own raft using only ropes, barrels and poles. They did brilliantly as the raft floated although many children fell in trying to change positions!

All children had a great day and I hope more children get the opportunity to participate in such a fun day in the future!
